Terms of service

Overview

This website is operated by Velloccino Bike Rent. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Velloccino Bike Rent. Velloccino Bike Rent offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service,” “Terms”). A customer renting a bike from Velloccino Bike Rent (hirer) does so under the following terms and conditions:

Payment:

• The full balance for the rental amount and a security deposit must be paid at the moment of completing the booking online.
• The security deposit will be refunded within 10 working days after the bike is returned in good condition.
• We accept payments via credit card, debit card, or other approved payment methods through our online system.
• Cancellation Policy:
  • If cancellation occurs 61 days or more before the start date, the hirer will be entitled to a refund of 80% of the total price.
  • If cancellation occurs within 31-60 days of the start date, the hirer will be entitled to a refund of 50% of the total price.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days or less of the commencement of the Hire Period will forfeit the total Hire Fee.

Liability in case of accident:

• The hirer must have accident and/or liability insurance and is responsible for all accidents or damages caused to themselves, third parties, or property.
• Velloccino Bike Rent is not liable for any personal injury or damage caused to third parties.
• Helmet use is mandatory, and helmets will be provided upon request.
• In case of emergencies, the police emergency number is 112.

Civil Responsibility and Limitations:

• Velloccino Bike Rent is not responsible for any fines or penalties incurred due to traffic violations.
• The hirer is responsible for all damages that occur during the rental period.
• Velloccino Bike Rent is not liable for any claims of injury or damage to the hirer or third parties.
• This contract is subject to Spanish law.

Additional Clauses:

• Velloccino Bike Rent reserves the right to refuse service if the hirer is deemed unfit to operate the bicycle (e.g., intoxicated or lacking sufficient riding experience).
• In the event of a mechanical failure not caused by misuse, we will offer a replacement bike or refund the remaining rental days.
