Payment Terms / Refund Policy

To secure a bike rental, an online payment is required at the time of booking.

This payment includes a security deposit, which will be refunded once the bike is returned in good condition.

Cancellations:

    • If cancellation occurs 61 days or more before the start date, the Client will be entitled to a refund of 80% of the total price.
    • If cancellation occurs within 31-60 days of the start date, the Client will be entitled to a refund of 50% of the total price.
    • Cancellations made within 30 days or less of the commencement of the Hire Period will forfeit the total Hire Fee.

The Hire Fee and any Security Deposit must be paid in euros.

If Equipment is returned late, the Client will be charged a minimum fee of €50. If returned the following day, the Client will be charged twice the published daily hire rate for each day the Equipment is overdue.

A valid credit/debit card must be presented or provided via our online secure system at the commencement of the Hire Period. A deposit up to the value of the Equipment may be required based on our risk assessment. This deposit will be refunded within 10 working days after the bike is returned in good condition.

All Equipment must be returned to the agreed location and at the agreed time at the end of the Hire Period.

Normal wear and tear, as defined by the product’s manufacturer or supplier, is accepted and included in the hire price.

Any deposits can be applied against costs or charges mentioned herein, such as damage or late return fees.

The Client is responsible for any damage to or loss of the Equipment during the Hire Period, excluding normal wear and tear. In the event of damage or loss, repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the security deposit, and any excess will be charged to the Client.

The Client is fully responsible for the bike during the Hire Period, including any theft or accidents. The Company will not be liable for any personal injury or damage to third parties caused by the Client's use of the Equipment.

The Company recommends that the Client obtains personal travel insurance to cover accidents, theft, or other unforeseen events during the Hire Period. The Equipment is not covered by the Company's insurance once it is in the Client's possession.

If the Equipment requires repairs during the Hire Period due to normal wear and tear, the Client must notify the Company immediately. Unauthorized repairs by the Client or third parties are prohibited and may result in additional charges.

The Client is required to follow all local laws, traffic regulations, and safety recommendations, including the use of helmets and other protective gear where required. Failure to adhere to these rules may void any refund or deposit return.

Upon receipt of the Equipment, the Client must inspect the bike to ensure it is in proper working order. Any defects or issues should be reported to the Company before use. Use of the bike without such notice will be considered acceptance that the Equipment is in good condition.
